Returns & Warranty

Coverage: Gumnut Kids offer a one-year limited warranty on all Gumnut Kids products. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. If a product fails due to a defect within one year from the date of purchase, we will repair or replace the product free of charge. To make a warranty claim, please contact our customer service team with your proof of purchase and a description of the issue. We may ask you to provide photos or other evidence of the defect.

Statutory Rights: Our terms and conditions laid out do not limit any statutory rights which may vary from state or province. This warranty excludes all consequential damages however, some states do not allow the limitations or exclusion of consequential damages and therefore this limitation may not apply to you.

General Warranty Information:
• The warranty applies to the original owner and is non-transferable.
• Regular maintenance is required to ensure maximum product life and performance, as outlined in the Owner’s Manual.
• Our warranties apply only to domestic use, not commercial.
• Warranty coverage begins from the date of purchase and applies only within the United States.
• Gumnut Kids reserves the right to make minor design changes to enhance safety and compliance with relevant standards.

Warranty Exclusions:

Installation and Maintenance:
• Alterations or modifications to the product.
• Improper installation, including placement on uneven, unlevel, or soft ground.
• Failure to adequately protect the product from natural elements (such as rain, snow, wind, and sun) or to perform necessary maintenance tasks, including sealing, painting, and general upkeep.

Repairs and Labor:
• Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications by a third party.
• Labor costs associated with the replacement of defective items, including preparation, painting, and assembly.
• Labor costs for inspection of the product.

Material and Structural Integrity:
• Natural occurring properties of wood, such as twisting, warping, checking, peeling, or other characteristics that do not affect performance or integrity.
• Cosmetic defects, including rusting, color fading, minor cracks, corrosion, which do not impact the product's performance or integrity.

Environmental Factors and Misuse:
• Damage caused by vandalism, abuse, improper use, or usage beyond specified capacities outlined in the assembly manual.
• Damage resulting from acts of nature, including wind, storms, hail, floods, excessive water exposure, or organic growth due to environmental climate.
• Damage caused by pests, mice, cockroaches, or wood-eating insects (including termites).

Wear and Tear:
• General wear and tear resulting from regular use, environmental conditions, or the passage of time.
• Consumption or depletion of consumable or expendable parts, such as slides, handles, climbing walls, and plastic accessories, due to UV deterioration.
